Kelly's does offer gift certificates
Dress any way you want. I go after work and they are nice as can be. Filet is wonderful.
You can. .just pull it up online.
They are open Tuesday-Saturday 530-9
Couldn't pour me back in there if I was water.
Probably...call ahead.
Great food, excellent friendly service. Same awesome dining experience that I had at Kelly's over 45 years ago
Best place to eat in the Carolinas
The service is great and the food is delicious!
I try to go as often as I can. I love the food and the laughs with the staff! This is a beautiful place for a romantic dinner or a group of friends that just want to have dinner and drinks.
One of the best filets I've had in my life. Good service as well.
Was not at all impressed with this place. Someone in our party ordered chicken tenders (2 people actually ) and they were way to done, almost burnt. The ranch dressing was very thick and tasted like store bought. The food was bland and really had no flavor. It was also very pricey. We will definitely not be going back here.
Steaks were very over-rated. Coffee was cold. Greeting staff was not very friendly. Probably won't go back.
The meals and service were above my expectations. I really liked the environment of this restaurant. Awesome spot to take the family out for dinner.
Kelly's had stood the test of time! The owners and staff are wonderful, hard-working people. While the decor may be simple, it is a very relaxing atmosphere. The steaks are of the highest quality and cooked to perfection. My personal favorite is the fried oysters. I have NEVER had any better, anywhere! They are fabulous! No one fries them up like Kelly's!
Ordered a shrimp po boy and my husband got a new York strip. Steak was ok but really bland. After a few bites of my sandwich i noticed a funny taste and realized that the shrimp still had its intestines. It wasn't deveined at all. I brought this to their attention and was told that the shrimp they plan to fry is never cleaned. I let the waiter know that it should be, because that stuff is literally poop. He went to the back and then we heard the chef yelling. I don't know how this place is still around.
First visit. Awesome meal! My steak was perfect with all the trimmings. Wait staff was professional and friendly. Will come again!
The quality of beef here is the best, you'll find, in any Upstate restaurant!!! Go enjoy a 24oz filet. They were sold out of that cut but the 12oz was enough! The chef definitely knows how to cook a true rare too! Bonus points for that 😊
Placed a order Togo while dining in and the server brought my order after we ate to the table and he told me here is your order. I didn’t check the order because I assumed it was right he called out what I was supposed to have. I get home and it’s not correct. I called back to inform restaurant and I am not pleased with the customer service response I received. I also live about 45 minutes away and the response from the management was either bring it back or there’s nothing I can do. Customer service out weighs food satisfaction any day. She could have offered something for the inconvenience, but no just “I’m sorry there’s nothing I can do”.
Great evening with Family and Friends. Thank you for great food and service.
Food was bland, ribeye was tough, and baked potato was overcooked!!!!!
prize is outrageous for what you get. sides are frozen foods I can literally get from Costco.
I have always been totally satisfied with the food quality and quantity. The whole staff are wonderful.
This is the best steakhouse in the country it's the best kept steak house in the country I love it I highly recommended you have to try the steaks are unbelievably thick well-cooked and the place is awesome
The food was good, nothing extraordinary. For the price you pay, I'd expect a little more food, $10 for 4 shrimp appetizers. The salads were very small. The food could have been seasoned (better). Beer selection is abysmal. The service was good, the waitress was new but nice.EDIT: when you spend $110 on food for 2 adults and one child, you shouldn't have to go home and eat again.
Food was good as well as the service. Located off the beaten path and could use some updating. Will stop in again when in the area.
I have been going to Kelly's Steak House in Blacksburg, SC for more than 30 years! It's a cozy romantic upscale restaurant. It's off the beaten path with beautiful views to enhance your dining experience. Kelly's also offers a private bar which includes tables to accommodate customers seeking a more comfortable and relaxed area to socialize. The food is excellent and freshly cooked to order. A variety of entrees ranging from freshly ground sirloin burgers to lobster and all the sides. Children's meals are reasonably priced. All meat is cut by owners. Only the best will do.The family business is about 54 years operating. If you're looking for a special place for events or private parties, this is the place. It's on my list of favorites.Did I mention the homemade cheesecakes and coconut cake (literally melts in your mouth!) along with other desserts?Makes a great addition to their fresh delicious coffee.
First visit & everything was great! Highly recommend.
The steaks are cooked well, and the servers are consistent and friendly. No draft beer, which is a shame but forgivable. The true star at Kelly's is the dessert menu. Make sure you save room, or just go only for dessert -- you'll want try the whole menu. Each one I have tried has been above and beyond. CJ is our favorite server, and appreciate his great service and dedication to Kelly's!
My husband and I ordered the Filet Mignon 6oz. Baked potato, salad, appetizer of bri cheese with current jam with almonds, French onion soup with cheese cake with strawberries. This was an excellent meal great service. This restaurant has been in operation for 59 years.
I have read a lot of reviews about this place. Good and bad. My experience was excellent. Our waitress was very nice and we didn't have to wait on anything. The salad was great and bake potatoes were hot and fresh. Both steaks were cooked to order and perfect. Need a little work on ceilings but they were nothing like the other reviews. Mostly cosmetic. The only thing negative I would have to say was it was a little pricey. They need better lighting in parking lot.
Went there for the annual Waco FD EOY party. Steak was cooked perfect and it was a great cut of meat. Juicy and stayed warm throughout dining because of the steel plate it arrived on. Great experience all in all!
I will always go here for great oysters and scallops. The dessert is fantastic too.
You'd do yourself a favor if you get the homemade pimento cheese on your steak!!
This restaurant always seemed busy whenever we would be in the area. Decided to try on a Thursday nite. Good food and service. Got smothered chicken with salad. Husband got chopped steak, fries and salad with drink. Total was 45.42. The building must be old as it had places on ceiling where plaster was hanging down. It seemed a pretty upscale restaurant to have that. Had other people with us and they had T bone steaks and liked them.
I love the food. The sweet potato fries and onion rings are the best around. My tuna steak was perfect. They have the best burgers in town also.
Always great food, love cheese sticks.Never have a problem just slower service sometimes, but what restaurant dont.
If you're looking for a 20$ dining experience at five times the price, look no further. When my family first arrived, we were crammed into a medium sized white table surrounded by patched together rolling hotel desk chairs from 1972. If you have to go to the bathroom, bring your climbing boots because the ascent has probably killed at least three drunks in the past. Our waitress seemed to have a lot going on, despite only attending to a few tables in what felt like an abandoned doublewide. She took four trips to take our orders, and then we didn't see her until my toddler had reached college age. The steak wasn't cooked right and was kind of bland, the appetizers were so small that trust me, your appetite will be fine after having the three bites of food they put out. There's also the fact that the heat doesn't work in half the building, so if you go to the bathroom as a male, expect to leave the urinal as a female if dining during the winter nights. Would not recommend.
Tried to maintain a positive attitude despite the loud odor that greets you at the entrance. After scanning the menu I was excited to see I would be enjoying a truly fine meal (based on the price scale). Ordered the filet and could tell it was a C-class cut of beef as soon as I sank my knife. Not only was the inferior cut grossly over priced, but completely unseasoned as well. When issues with the meal were explained to the owner and staff they became hostile as if it were our fault they had an empty dining area and poor kitchen skills. Just plain unprofessional, Hal’s chophouse prices with an inner city Burger King experience. Gordon Ramsey save them!
I decided to treat myself to steak here one night. I had been here once a long time ago and it was great then. Well tonight was a disappointment. I got the cheapest thing on the menu which is $30. The steak had absolutely no flavor at all, the A1 and Heinz 57 barely helped it. Service was great though, that being the only perk. Rest of the food was ok. Expected much better for $30 than what I got. Probably will not be back.
Worst food ever!!! The server was rude and used foul language. Then to make it worse the owner is in denial about how absolutely awful the food is!! The double sirloin is the worst cut of meat we have EVER HAD!! Granted we had a party of 6. 3 orders were for double sirloin and all 3 had to be sent back! Raw on the inside and burnt to a crisp on the outside! And can you believe that she still made us pay for the food we didn’t eat!!! The fact that there was only two other tables eating with an empty parking lot should have been our first warning sign, the second should have been how the establishment smelled like a funeral home or nursing home! By all means avoid this place!!!
This place sucks, service Was bad and it smells bad.
Wonderful server and atmosphere. Appetizers were most excellent!! Steak was lacking a little bit, not bad but not the best. Definitely will be backnfor appetizer night.
Our food was great and the service was excellent.
Overpriced, stale salad, outdated and rundown facility absolutely terrible....
Decent food, extremely slow service, very pricey.
Excellent service, great food!
The best hidden treasure. We have been going to Kelly's for years...We now travel for Charlotte to Kelly's and it is always worth it. We love the food and the staff. We will see them again... real soon!!
The steaks were fantastic! Only 4 stars because they were understaffed and out of several menu items. A 7:15 reservation turned into an 8:10 seating and a 9:45 departure. Food was delicious though.
They really good food steaks seafood appetizers people are really friendly service great place u take your family nice atmosphere
The absolute best food this area has to offer. It will remind you why of why you love steak and potatoes. It is simply done and done very well! A must try, that you won't regret.
Absolute let down! I should have known when I was the only person in the dining room at prime feeding time. The steak had no flavor. The bread and baked potatoes were burnt, the sour cream was "homemade" with diced onions in it. I cannot eat onions. When I complained, I was told, "that's how we do it here, you should have told us you can't eat onions." Like I should know onions are in their sour cream? The building is in poor shape and decor is dated. My chair literally had duct tape holding the arm rest together. The owner was rude and could care less about my complaint.
Service was great and food was great
This place was awful and is stuck in a time warp. We arrived before our reservation and were seated right away. We ordered and got our salads and appetizers very timely but we waited for 1hr to get our entrees. We kept being told that they were a little behind and it wouldn't be long. We finally got the truth in that they had a table of 30 that threw the entire place behind. My son and boyfriend ordered filet mignon and although they ordered them medium rare, they were RAW and had to be sent back. My Daughter-in-law's salad with chicken was a joke and my hamburger steak was raw in the center (I ordered it medium). The chibata rolls were store bought and not even warm. Do not waste your time going here; we will not be back.
JOKE. WAY OVER PRICED for a place that gets hardly any business as it is! There "shrimp jammers" appetizer (comes with FOUR) they charge $10!! TEN DOLLARS FOR 4 SHRIMP 😂😂😂😂😂 GTFO here. Never again!!!! 👏👏👏
